What packages do you offer?

Our intimate minimony ceremony package offers a stress-free and affordable option for a memorable celebration.

 

Celebrate your love with an intimate minimony at Forest Edge STL. Our minimony venue package is designed for couples who want to exchange vows in a beautiful natural setting, surrounded by up to 50 of their closest loved ones. Say "I do" under the enchanting Canopy at the Forest Edge, providing a picturesque backdrop for your special day. Our package includes seating for up to 50 guests, simple ceremony instrumental music, access to our charming tiny home, and 3 hours of dedicated time for getting ready, the ceremony and additional photos and the option to add professional photography, videography and/or an ordained officiant.

Do you host receptions?

At this time, we do not host receptions. Our focus is on creating a magical and intimate experience for the wedding ceremony itself. However, we have a list of recommendations and can assist you in finding nearby venues or resources for your reception needs. If you have a special request, don't hesitate to let us know, and we can always see how we can make it happen within your timeframe. While tables for each guest are not available, you can opt for a standing dessert table or cake cutting setup. Our goal is to ensure that your special day is everything you envision, and we are here to support you in any way we can!

What timeline do you recommend?

We understand that the timing of your wedding ceremony is crucial for creating the perfect atmosphere. At Forest Edge STL, we offer a range of timeframes that are tailored to the season and sunset time, ensuring that you have the ideal lighting and ambiance for your special day.

For example, let's consider a date like September 21. We have options available to accommodate different preferences, styles and an estimated 7:00 p.m. sunset time.

Option 1: 3 hour Mid-day Minimony

  • You would arrive at the venue at 12:30 p.m., giving you ample time to set up and capture beautiful getting ready and detail photos.

  • The ceremony would commence at 1:30 p.m., followed by a portrait session and family photos around 2:00 p.m.

  • We allocate time for cleanup from 3:00pm to 3:15 p.m., and the event concludes at 3:30 p.m.

Option 2: 3 hour Sunset Minimony

  • Arrive at the venue at 4:30 p.m., allowing time for setup and getting ready photos.

  • The ceremony would start at 5:30 p.m., followed by a portrait session and family photos at 6:00 p.m.

  • As the evening progresses, you will have the opportunity to enjoy the breathtaking sunset around 7:00 p.m.

  • We allocate time for cleanup and sendoff at 7:15 p.m., and the event concludes at 7:30 p.m.

 

By offering these varied timeframes, we ensure that you can choose the one that best suits your vision and preferences. Our team will work closely with you to determine the optimal timing, taking into account the unique characteristics of your chosen date and season.

With a clean slate, anything is possible, and we're excited to create a truly unique and unforgettable experience for your special day.

Does your venue offer event insurance?

We understand the importance of ensuring a worry-free event! We've partnered with Indemn to provide an option for comprehensive liability and cancellation insurance, offering you peace of mind for your special day for a small fee. Our commitment is to make your experience at Forest Edge STL not only magical but also secure and stress-free.

Event Liability

An event liability policy is your safety net, ensuring that you won't have to bear the financial burden in case of unexpected incidents, such as injuries or property damage during your celebration. By partnering with Indemn, we've taken proactive steps to safeguard your interests, allowing you to focus on enjoying every moment of your special day without worrying about unforeseen expenses.

 

Event Cancellation
Recover your non-refundable deposits in case of unexpected event cancellation or postponement due to factors like extreme weather, immediate family illness, military deployment and other unforeseen circumstances. Their coverage also extends to additional expenses incurred to prevent cancellation, loss of deposits, special attire, gifts and more—even if the event proceeds as planned. Recognizing that unforeseen challenges can arise, their insurance ensures that making essential last-minute changes doesn't become a financial burden.

Common claim scenarios for a cancellation policy include event cancellation/postponement due to extreme weather, accident or illness of an immediate family member, military deployment, venue/vendor bankruptcy and more. Pandemic related cancellations and break-up/change of heart cancellations are not covered. Additionally, loss of deposits and extra expenses incurred even if the event does not cancel can also be covered.
